(**********************************) from a business in Las Vegas, Hernandez said. They were armed with semi-automatic handguns, according to a criminal complaint. The victim was put in a car and taken to Lawton’s home in Palmdale, California.(***)(**)The woman was held in a room in the home for about a week where she was sexually assaulted and forced to withdraw money from her bank. She was then “left for dead” in the desert without food or water, according to Hernandez.(***)(**)Hernandez said Lawton and Poche-Lawton knew the victim, but are not related to her.
